Projects    Salsa Fuerte

After three successful tours in Europe, the latin jazz band Salsa Fuerte is touring again. This band brings pure energy to the stage. Jazzy improvisations mixed with the beats of latin music make you move your body. Some band members live in New York and some in Germany. They have been friends for a long time which you will definitely notice in their stage performance. In New York you can experience the fusion of Afro Cuban rhythms, mambos, sons and jazz which results in a unique style of music. This band was founded during a session in one of the most known latin clubs of New York, the Nuyorican Poets Café. Next to especially arranged latin jazz standards Salsa Fuerte also performs original compositions.
Their newest CD “Fantasia’ was  released by the peregrina music label in 2007.
