The ensemble Tango Five is a meeting point of four extraordinary musicians. Their artistic personalities is very different and at the same time they want to work together to find a new way of approaching different music cultures. They studied classical and jazz music and work in small bands as well as symphonic orchestras. In addition to their solo instrument all of them studied singing which shows in their programs. The combination of virtuoso instrumental solos with convincing a-capella pieces is a one of a kind in the music scene. They where invited to the Tango Festivals in Montevideo and Buenos Aires to introduce there compositions influenced by Jazz and Tango. Highlights in the 23 years of Tango Five’s existence where performances at the world exhibitions in Sevila and Hannover as well as the olympic games in Athens. The new comedy program “Euroflott, damit der Rubel wieder rollt” features two guests, the actor Fee Huebner sister of Veit and Gregor and the drummer Patrick Mancecchi.
